Education Committee

Mission: The Education Committee is responsible for assisting the CoC Board in developing and organizing training and other educational opportunities for CoC member organizations.  This includes organizing the CoC’s annual symposium and other periodic trainings and seminars with the goal of providing the staff of member organizations with the information and training necessary to serve their clients effectively.

Specific Responsibilities:

·         Identify specific training topics and needs through feedback from CoC member organizations.  

·         Identify or develop training resources to provide periodic training on topics most needed by CoC members.

·         Organize the CoC’s annual symposium.

 Organizational Matters:

The Committee shall consist of representatives from at least 3 provider agencies, a DCMH and a DSS representative.

 The Committee shall meet bi-monthly (6 times a year) and at such other times as the Committee Co-Chairs shall deem appropriate – either in person or virtually.
