Landlord Relations Committee

Mission:

The Landlord Relations Committee is responsible for ensuring CoC member organizations maintain strong relationships with Westchester County landlords in order to maximize the number of housing opportunities for clients.  

Specific Responsibilities:

·         Collect and distribute information to CoC member organizations on available units in existing buildings and new developments and the opening of wait lists for various types of housing. 

·         Provide a forum for CoC member organizations to raise issues they are having with specific landlords and get support in addressing them.

·         Strategize on how to better access and motivate landlords to increase the number of units available to CoC member organizations and their clients.   

Organizational Matters:

The Committee shall consist of representatives from at least 3 provider agencies.

The Committee shall meet 6 times a year and at such other times as the Committee Co-Chairs shall deem appropriate – either in person or virtually.
